These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the services, charts, content, and related materials provided by the Sonic Intelligence Academy. By accessing or using any SIQA Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
The Sonic Intelligence Academy (SIQA) is an independent organization dedicated to providing editorial charts, informational resources, and cultural context for AI-generated music. SIQA's mission is to document and recognize the emerging landscape of AI music through transparent, data-informed editorial processes.
SIQA does not guarantee any particular outcome, ranking, chart placement, or promotional benefit to artists, creators, or other participants. Chart inclusion is determined by editorial discretion based on aggregated performance signals and is subject to SIQA's internal policies and methodologies.
SIQA publishes editorial charts, including the AI Music Hot 100 and Top 100 AI Covers, which are informed by aggregated third-party performance signals, publicly observable data, and industry analytics. All chart rankings are determined at SIQA's sole editorial discretion.
SIQA reserves the right to modify its chart methodologies, eligibility criteria, data sources, and scoring models at any time to reflect evolving industry practices, technological developments, and cultural trends. SIQA is under no obligation to disclose proprietary formulas or internal decision-making processes.
Chart rankings are editorial opinions and do not constitute endorsements, certifications, or guarantees of quality, popularity, or commercial success.
SIQA is not a streaming platform, music distributor, record label, rights management organization, or music service provider. SIQA does not host, distribute, license, or monetize music on behalf of artists or creators.
SIQA does not pay artists, creators, or rights holders for chart inclusion. SIQA does not charge fees to be featured on its charts. Chart placement is based solely on editorial evaluation of performance signals and eligibility criteria.
SIQA charts are informational and editorial in nature. They are informed by trusted third-party industry data providers, publicly observable performance signals, and licensed analytics tools. SIQA aggregates and interprets this data independently using proprietary methodologies designed to reflect authentic audience engagement.
Copyright Detection and Evolving Standards: SIQA does not perform exhaustive copyright detection, rights clearance verification, or legal audits of submitted or tracked content. Copyright law as it applies to AI-generated music is rapidly evolving, and industry standards are not yet fully established. SIQA aligns its policies with recognized industry practices and reserves the right to adjust eligibility criteria as legal and ethical norms develop. Creators and rights holders are responsible for ensuring their content complies with applicable platform terms and policies.
All content submitted for editorial consideration or tracked by SIQA must comply with applicable platform policies and recognized industry standards, including rights of publicity.
Songs that use the recognizable voice, likeness, or identity of a real public figure (living or deceased) without appropriate permission or platform approval are not eligible for SIQA charts. This includes AI-generated vocal performances that mimic or impersonate celebrities, influencers, public figures, or deceased artists where usage is restricted by estates or representatives.
SIQA reserves the right to remove any content from its charts at any time if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the content violates eligibility criteria, infringes third-party rights, or undermines the integrity of the charting system.
Creators may submit released AI-generated or AI-assisted music for editorial consideration through SIQA's official submission channels. Submissions are reviewed solely for the purpose of editorial evaluation.
Submission does not guarantee chart inclusion, ranking, promotion, or any other outcome. SIQA is under no obligation to feature, track, or respond to any submitted content. All editorial decisions are final and are made at SIQA's sole discretion.
